Your ticket out of IE/CSS hell?

28 September 2005 - 3:48pm -- Joseph

I've been made aware of an 'interesting' article that sheds some light on Internet Explorer's sometime unfathomable approach to CSS page styling by one of my colleagues (thanks Rich!).

I say 'interesting' becasue if you're a web designer (like me), then this page may well help you solve some 'interesting' (i.e. unwanted, but amusingly idiotic) display glitches in IE.

If you're not a web designer, then it's not going to be of the least interest to you, unless you want a glimpse into the inner workings of the IE rendering engine. Personally, I'd rather not have to know anything about that, and have Microsoft actually produce a standards-compliant browser.

Since that's not going to happen, I'm going to have to try and understand it...
