Photographic chronology of a family

10 April 2006 - 12:15pm -- Joseph

Thids is so cool! I just come a cross a link to a photographic chronology of a family - Diego Golberg takes a photo of each member of his family on June 17th every year. He started in 1976 (well, the photos on the site start then...) with himself and his partner/wife, and then children introduce themselves along the way. There's links on the page to other similar collections as well.

I've always wanted to do this, or at least, I thought of doing it with just me, and never got around to it. Well, it makes much more sense to do it with a whole family, and would be a nice record of development of a family (not that any such developments are imminent, I should point out...).

Also, digital photography makes it so much easier these days (okay, so developing one film a year is hardly a huge effort, but you'd be amazed how the smallest of barriers will prevent me from doing something, inertia sucks).

So I'm definitely up for starting a record (provided that Heather agrees...)

All I need now is a date. June 17th is the day after my birthday, so that would be fine, or we could go equidistant between my birthday and hev's, which would put us (I think) on June 29th.

Or perhaps we could go on or near our anniversary?

Anyway, pick a date, and let the chronology begin...
